When you go to "contact us" on the Velocity website there is now "VIP" as a tier above Platinum to select in the pull-down menu.

There's no pull down menu for me on Safari and also a search for VIP yields nothing, maybe I already am one ;)

    Indeed!

Not sure why you are able to select a tier when you are logged in... While it does (I think) default to your current tier, what is stopping me selecting VIP or red ?

I wonder if VA will make anything official about this ?

I (WP) had a call from someone at DJ the other day. He called me a "VIP customer". Does that count? :p

Commercially Important Passenger. I've heard its a frivolous term as any travel agent can flag it against any passenger.

So does it only show for Plats (when logged in) or for everyone? I can think if a couple who might qualify

Looks generic to me. I see the same thing regardless of whether I'm logged in or not.

They pulled down my menu a year ago, so no point asking me. :(

Just realised the postal address in my Velocity Account is still set to the Gold Coast, invitation must have been sent there.

Must remember to check the mail when I'm next up north.
