Velocity WP = Delta Gold Medallion ?

Just looking to take extra bags on DL after a VA flight soon domestically in USA. I want to take 3 bags up to 32kg (relocating to USA). No problem as a WP in Biz on VA but if I fly a domestic Y sector afterwards on separate ticket the website says;

"Additional Checked Baggage Allowance - Receive the same allowance as Delta Gold Medallion members."

Both SG & WP say the same = Delta Gold. Is that right or a typo?

Gold Medallion gets 2 bags at 32kg, Platinum Medallion gets 3. Slightly confused.

Any WP flown DL lately? Did you get your WP benefits?
