Domestic J availability is magnitudes better than the 'opposition'...

Edit: Domestic availability in all classes is far better, except no one cares about Y availability...

That's actually what I meant, but I guess I wasn't clear when what I'm really getting at is international J, which is about as extant under VFF as drop bears are.

No real complaint from me though - I fly VA dom frequently enough to appreciate the availability.

I found plenty of Etihad availability to Europe in J and F; and also 3x J seats each way from MEL-NAN (in the A330). Haven't tried LAX reward redemption although I was able to upgrade from Y once. Big fan of Velocity overall.

Availability is always good....however, the service is not so much especially on international. Took my first international flight in J & not really impressed....

Yeh no-one cares, except perhaps the 90% of members who might even be more likely to vote in these polls, and have a family in tow thus more interested in free economy seats for their whole family ....

VA only get these awards because they bomb their members with EDMs begging for votes instead of actually working on making their program better.

These awards are a joke. We all know that.

Would there really ever be enough Reward LAX seats for everyone to be happy? I know there aren't a lot but J is often full and flying Europe is fairly easy via SQ / EY.

In the past I have literally done searches 300+ days in advance for East Coast -> US with zero availability.
