Velocity Reward Flight - SYD to Queenstown

Hi folks,

I'm a long time stalker and first time poster.

Wondering if someone could help me out...

Looking to take my wife on a trip to Queenstown with my Velocity FF points.
I can't seem to see any reward flights available on any dates (just comes up with "sold out for reward flights")

Is it even possible?

Reward seats go quickly on this route as its probably one of the best value economy redemptions in their network.

They would sell out quickly I suggest booking 10 months in advance or so, also this should be in the velocity forum not general discussion

There is availability on 6/7/13/14/15 March 2017 (for at least one seat).

I'm doing the Milford Track in December. Thus I booked my reward seats a month ago. As each day became available the seats vanished by the next day or maybe two or three days. If doing 11 months in advance you will have to book your outward trip first and then your return when that date opens otherwise you may be disappointed. QF seemed to have better availability though.
