Is anyone else having this issue? I have recently flown four sectors VA-ticketed and Velocity number entered, on NZ-operated trans-Tasman flights, and points have come through for none of them. It's annoying as you have to wait at least 14 days before you can claim the missing points and then you might have forgotten about it.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Yes for my recent trip back from CHC to Sydney two weeks ago. Still waiting

To update. All four sectors (late March SYD/WLG/SYD and early Apr SYD/AKL/SYD), VA tickets on NZ operated flights - missing points claims on the website were unsuccessful with the following message:

"Unsuccessful: Please send a copy of your eticket to [email protected]"

So I did that and they reply several days later:

"I have escalated your claim to the operating partner Air New Zealand and I am now just waiting for them to confirm that the following flights are eligible to earn Velocity Points:

[flights and dates]

This manual confirmation step occasionally takes longer than we'd like - anywhere from four to six weeks."

1. Have I been doing something wrong in my booking process? (But my Velocity number appears on the ticket and boarding passes.)

2. Why does VA have to check with NZ and why does it take 4 to 6 weeks?

3. Will I still achieve WP status on the basis of current SC balance (plus the SCs from the four sectors), or do they work it out when NZ gets back to them in 6 weeks, when my SC balance will have dropped down again (at which time the SC balance plus SCs from the four sectors won't be enough)?

Thanks for any feedback or sharing your experience.

I flew AKL-MEL on the 10th of April on Air NZ and haven't had my points / sc credit yet either
