Has anyone logged in to download their latest statement from Global Wallet? The website has been updated and no longer supports a secure download of transactions. Instead, you have to click the "export" tab which opens the months' transactions as a dodgy excel spreadsheet, which is highly editable and open to amendment. It's a ridiculous system and no where near as professional as the previous option.

I've emailed support for advice on this as we rely heavily on this data to reconcile our expenditure.

WORST is that the transactions have no dates down the left, centre or right.
What is the *leeding point of all this enchancements if they don't have dates of transactions.
What the type of moment when I first saw it.

I actually know LESS than I did before a lengthy phone call to Velocity.

The customer support person was simply not interested in my enquiry - she kept saying "Well Ma'am - I'm sorry but that's how it is now".

Time to retire this form of expense for me - it's been a wonderful tool for managing international currencies while travelling, but their pathetic transaction history offering is simply unacceptable. Perhaps they are intentionally steering the professional away from this method and onto credit card style options that have higher fees.....

Yes, you have to manually "pull" the tab open to see the dates. The currency filter doesn't seem to work when exporting, so the the plethora of currency tabs across the top simply add to the congestion of the document and prevent it from being viewed all on the one page. (Excel condenses the information as the default page layout is usually set to A4).

Absolutely third world.

Thanks for the tip.
I did try pulling down the tabs and all that, but that didn't open any date info, but...
had to download to to CSV Excel file, and then in Excel, which then gives the dates and more more info.
File is not writable, so can't be changed, Read only it says, so probably will be hard or difficult to amend figures if someone was that way inclined.
Still, I would have preferred the only way of statement viewing, but with the new refreshed look and functionality too **(at the same time)** would have been ideal.

Yes, you have to export to CSV to view the "statement", which opens Excel. I can then open the tabs I described, move fields, amend, delete and alter all information, add to the document, then export as an innocent looking PDF.

Above Global Wallet statement for January. The screenshot shows my remarkable "expenditure" and cash loads..............columns have been condensed to protect my privacy, but this is pretty much what the "new" statement looks like. I can publish this no problem and hand it to my accountant - who would have no idea how false those transactions are. Nor would the ATO. It's a ludicrous system that needs to be overhauled.
