Velocity FF survey, received today 12/09/17... legit or scam

Its from Forethought.
I have not opened it.
Anyone got this and did you dare open and put in your thoughts.
Its "Dear Valued Customer" making it smell like a scam.
BUT I would really like to give VA/VFF a piece of my mind, but am cowardly not to dare open it.

Sounds like a scam... I just checked the legitimate surveys I get from Virgin and they always say our name. Also not from any one called Forethought...
 
Today, maybe it was yesterday got a survey from VA's email addressed to me by name. Seems odd that there's 2 surveyors.
 
I got one of these as well. Does not look like a scam.
 
It's legit. I messaged VA on FB and asked them - given they normally come from Colmar Brunton and this one went to Spam for me.
 
I didn't get to the thought process of legit or not. I read and it said fill out a 20 minute survey for a chance to go into to draw to win one of 3 $500 cards. My immediate thought was then "up ya blurt" and then deleted. If it had have offered 1000 points or something I then would have sussed out whether it was legit or not.
 
Survey is legit goes through what you would like from Virgins meal service lots of different options, including pre packed meals in the lounge to take on the plane...

I should tell them what I think of the tiny packet of salty cr*p called pretzels SYD-OOL at dinner time the other night.
 
Aye, re: the pretzels and a few peanuts thrown in for good measure and with it comes tea, coffee, juice, or water.
Had that many times.
Haven't had the mini oblong sandwich for a while.
So the survey was about what we want for food on board VA flights.
Does not tickle my fancy, that one, no matter if they threw 15,000 VFF points my way.
Now, if they asked me about SC earn on flights, I would fire up and send my reply ASAP.
Dear Valued Customer, heh, now, if you get that from say, Telstra or Optus, or your energy provider, what would you think?
I deleted the email.

Its quite frustrating when large companies do not really listen to their customers.
Only interested on the small pifffly stuff, food on flights, crumbs in my opinion, but they are not keen on what really matters to me, lower VFF SC earn on shorter routes for eg.
Not only VA/VFF though.

To be fair, when you look at the sheer volume of words and posts that food offerings have taken up in these and other forums it's perhaps not surprising airlines may think it is the only thing that matters! :p

Is an airline a transportation company that may (or may not) also serve food OR a cafe/restaurant company that may also transport you by air somewhere at the same time?
