Velocity Elite flying Virgin America; what lounge?

I am a WP flying J on VA6 and VA7 in the coming weeks with connections to/from ORD on Virgin America F.

Any tips regarding lounge access at LAX? What amenities exist at the lounge before the Virgin America flight?

VX have a lounge at LAX, AFAIK it's pretty basic.

VX are scheduled to move to T6 May 13; I suspect that will be after "the coming weeks"

ISTR, the only VX lounge Velcity elites have access to is the one at LAX>

I wonder what will happen when they move to T6.

In May, VX will move in with their new owners AS, so I assume VA WP will be able to use the AS lounge in T6.

The Loft at LAX is flying away on May 10 and access to the Alaska Airlines Lounge in Terminal 6 will be available starting on May 13. Until then, treat yourself to a bite or beverage at the Virgin America Loft at LAX. The Loft is located past security at Terminal 3 on the upper level. You can access the Loft by taking the stairs or elevator, both located near the food court. The Virgin America Loft is open to any guests flying Virgin America or a Virgin America partner airline or other passengers departing from LAX Terminal 3 who present a day pass or pay the $30 per person entrance fee.​
