Velocity really messed up by having the Feb 1 date in there.........

There's a major Oneworld event on tomorrow (Feb 1), and all (except QR) CEOs are flying in for the press event.

Chances of QF running some type of promotion (ie: double SC) = HIGH.

Velocity should have started their promo ASAP in order to lock in the bookings.

Why would I care what QF or OW are doing? Unless I want to pay far more to get less...

I've been holding off booking some flights waiting for this type offer. Hooray!
There appears to be a cyclical pattern to the release of these type of offers which I am close to having the data to map. I'll post some more data in the member section of the site.

Or maybe Velocity got wind of something, and threw it together as quick as the could.

6 sectors booked two days ago. Never mind, more coming up soon.

Mind you, all I am shooting for is a guest plat for my wife.

They must be reading the forums. All sub $900 RAR fares have been removed and are now $150 more.

This is not at all surprising. The cheap fares usually disappear while a DSC promo is on.

Very rookie question here, but do I need to book directly on the Virgin website or can I go via a TA? Only asking because of the upcoming travel expo and looking to maximise value. Thanks everyone.

I don't think it matters where you book as long as it's an Eligible Flight...

See if you can get confirmation from a previous deal because the recent double points promo my online booking credited but the Flight Centre one didn’t.

DSC offers are the cancer of the FF world but I have successfully registered anyway.

Time to book a few Freedom fares to upgrade to J with my four fresh upgrades....

I was in the process of checking flights with the intention of booking a flight to JFK.
Strangely right after midnight Brisbane time all fares on my chosen dates went up by $1900.
