Hi VFF,

In May 2012, it was agreed by the then VFF rep here on AFF (perhaps yourself) that VA valet parking earning VFF points (link to post), "was a great idea" and that you'd "definitely take it on board" but no word about this since. (that I'm aware of)

Given you have a points earning parking partner, surely it makes sense that we should not be penalised by using VAs own valet facility?

Is there any plan to implement this shortly?

Yes, the VFF rep here on AFF did say that earning points off our own valet parking service was a great idea. I can say it was taken to the team for discussion. I can't tell you where or at what point the status of the idea is at currently. To answer your question about whether it would be implemented shortly? .....I'll have to check.

Moi? I'm just asking a question, but I can say my rose coloured glasses were broken in the VA stampede to increase fares over the past few years. I do note however, you've put your preferred foot forward..........that being no answer. You aren't a politician are you? Perhaps a long history in the public service?

BTW...I do appreciate you checking with the powers that be.

They do have a long way to go to match the QF version of the service at the other end of the terminal at brisbane.
I use it a lot, but it is missing a lot of the key features that really should be there. i.e.
1. Link to VFF and points earn
2. Retention of customer details and payment method for express quick drop off and collection
3. Link to flights/customer Itinerary to allow for (very common) delays, (very rare) early arrivals or flight changes.
3. Baggage Drop
4. Express entry to the lounge
5. Special offers for Frequent users of the service.
