Travelling in just over a week MEL - CDG via SIN return on VA flight numbers on SQ codeshare.
Under the VA Ref I have all passengers listed (2x Adult, 2x Infant), and e-ticket number for all 4.
Obtained the SQ Ref and found that only 3 of us are listed. Infant #2 doesn’t appear to be on the SQ Ref when I check on the SIA website, and on checkmytrip.
- Contacted VA, who advised it appears correctly ticketed from their point of view, but since I booked though an OTA, I need to contact them to deal with SIA.
- Contacted OTA and they advised no issue.
- Contacted SIA and they advised second infant is a check-in remark which will only be visible to checkin staff and there should be no issue.
I’ve well and truly learnt my lesson booking a codeshare, especially via an OTA as it makes special requests almost impossible. Traveling with twin infants has its seating challenges on the simplest of bookings.
Should I be concerned about the SIA ticketing situation? Or just turn up for checkin early and hope for the best?
