VA Site Issues ?

When I search for flights it shows no prices. When I select flights I still see no pricing in the right frame and you can't continue to the next page anyway.

Is everyone seeing this ?

I've had the no pricing on the radio button for the past two days but price always comes up on the right after selection.

Pretty much the same here. No prices showed up, I could select flights but could not continue to the next page. Refreshed the page, still no prices showing - could select flights (although prices still didn't show up on the right-hand side of the page as they usually do), and this time was able to click on the Continue button to go to the next page and it was only there that the price showed up. Another glitch, by the looks of it.

Possibly has been fixed now - I just tried to book flights on the VA website and it seems to take forever to load and the prices intitally do not seem to be there but after a bit more waiting they all show up OK, the booking summary seems to add up the fares I selected OK.
 
Yes can now see prices. Once I select the first flight the prices populate and the next button appears. Phew, thought I was going to have to book through Qantas...:shock:

Yes thats what I saw yesterday as well - empty prices everywhere until I selected the first flight with the radio button. How strange.

I'm guessing it may be related to some Javascript UI library getting blocked (because it's trying to load http.. and the page is https..)

We do it a lot at our work too.(not the best idea i know) Patch the live server without testing first... it`s very common! Either that or some other software or browser software got updated causing this issue.
 
I don't have the machines here to test, but I think I only got this the other day when I was booking via Safari or Chrome, I didn't get it in Firefox if I recall correctly (this was booking last week late Thursday afternoon)

And additionally means the resource is typically cached on the users PC, then needing to re-request for every site that includes it (meaning your site is faster)
 
The whole thing is totally borked. Managed to book a J reward ticket last night, but the final confirmation page said travel class was "Any seat economy". However the eticket arrived with J. Phew - dodged having to make a phone call. Then tried to book some more tickets normally online, in Chrome the process wouldn't load the payment details part of the screen. Tried again - no. Tried with latest IE - prices wouldn't show up. Went back to Chrome, no luck. Decided to do it over the phone. Nice chap on Gold line tried to charge me $480~ instead of $310 until he realised he was booking me for March instead of April. He ended up booking the right tickets. During the process gave him details of $50 voucher but he didn't use it. Then to top it off I've been double-charged. *sigh* why is it so hard some days?

Double charged for your aborted attempt at booking online with credit card? or double charged from the phone call centre fares? Or one of each?

Didn't get a chance to enter cc details online - that part of the screen was blank. Double-charge was from the call centre booking.

Feel free to add your experiences to the double charging thread I started (the one that VFF is ignoring) in the Ask VFF sub forum!

I would try to call back immediately and get the double charge fixed up right now with the call centre, maybe try a PM to Velocity Frequent Flyer as well if no joy? And also maybe the mods can move toowongman's specific problem to the existing thread that bcworld suggested, or indeed start another new thread as this is weird one - I haven't heard many double charge problems from the call centre yet, they have usually been the web site double charging people from what I have seen.
