Upto 120,000 QFF for $0 Fee on Westpac Black Altitude

I’m also still waiting on MC points. Amex came immediately. Min spend met 2 statements ago, and my account clearly showed 80k bonus points on the westpac side, they appear to have transferred them to limbo. I was worried but it looks like everyone else is in similar position...

All my 120k points have arrived, so I am ready to burn the AMEX, but will hold on to the Westpac until I use it for a Qantas flight to get the 2 lounge passes

Can anyone please confirm if you can cancel just the one card separately and keep the other card? You'd think so, but would love to hear from someone who has actually cancelled only one card.

I’ve cancelled the Westpac Platinum that was a part of that combo. Did it online with No problems at all. Don’t think you can cancel Amex online though.

Same as others here. I have met the minimum spend early in 2nd statement. I have received 2nd statement now, but no bonus points (but got the Amex ones quickly). The poster above mentioned seeing the 80k bonus points on the Westpac side... I was wondering how to do that. I have points appearing in my QFF account from Westpac, but I can't see anything on the Westpac side anywhere to indicate what they are sending? I want to be sure I have met the minimum spend before retiring the card.

It was listing number of rewards points accumulated under the general account details on the phone app - but doesn't seem to show this at the moment. Not sure if they've changed something, seems strange its not there anymore.
 
Thanks for that. I might have to give them a call. I have earned over 3000 points at the 0.75 points earn rate, so I assume I have met the minimum spend.
 
Just got my 80,000 points, sadly a week after the transfer rate change. They arrived approximately 7 weeks after meeting minimum spend.
 
I must be very lucky. Met the minimum spend in the first 3 weeks and received the 80k points plus monthly points with the first statement. Now to get the Amex points in month #2!
 
Just got the 80k points exactly 90 days after I met the spend

Have already cancelled the Amex, just waiting on the lounge passes before I close the WP card

My wife got her 40k and 80k points within the first month. The first Westpac statement has come through and the first Amex statement hasn’t even come yet.

Not sure just being lucky or what. Easiest 120k points ever!
 
On my MC I hit the spend in the 2nd month and got the points in the third statement.

My wife's MC we hit it first week and received points first statement. Amex came through the same month we hit the spend on both of our Amex cards.
 
My carbon offset payment worked on triggering the passes. Time to close and move on, Thanks westpac
 
Met the minimum spend on the MC around 5 weeks ago, during the second statement period. Just got the third statement - no bonus points yet. Previous iterations of this card have taken me up to three statements after the minimum spend to get points so I'm assuming it won't be any different here.

Amex bonus points posted immediately after the spend was achieved on that card.

What's the easiest way to trigger spend to get the lounge passes if I don't have any need to book Qantas flight in the near future?
I can buy a set of playing cards from the store for $10... ;)

Carbon offset should work.

You'll see that reported just one message earlier (#255)

Can it be done retrospectively? And if so, how? (I can't see an option when I go into manage my booking).

You don't need a booking. You can just purchase carbon offsets out of the goodness of your heart.
