I have a ADL-NRT booking in PE for May next year, with the ADL-SYD flight in Y. I have just tried to upgrade the ADL-SYD segment to business (it is B class), and despite there being award seats available - both on Expert Flyer and on QF website, a message keeps coming back that award seats are unavailable on this flight at the moment. It does not even give me the option to waitlist for an upgrade, as it has done in the past. Am I missing something here, or is this a website glitch. Would be interested to hear if anyone else is having an issue like this.
I am holding off upgrading the SYD-NRT sectors, as it is showing a 4 class 747 at this stage, with PE in the lower business cabin, so if this remains, I will save my points.
