Unusual Ambassador Renewal Option?

Hey I just went on tonight to check some up coming bookings and I noticed my Ambassador was up for renewal so clicked the link and these are the three options:

If you wish to renew your Ambassador status by making a purchase, choose one of the following:
Renew for $150 and receive 15,000 bonus points*
Renew for $200 and receive 15,000 bonus points* plus a 10% points rebate on Reward Nights**

Or, if you wish to renew your Ambassador status using Priority Club® points choose the following:
Renew using 24,000 of your Priority Club points and receive 24,000 bonus points*



What is the deal with option number three- use 24000 points and get 24000 points back?? Does this mean it's technically free to renew?
I got the status free in the first place so another year free would be great- already used it a heap in Sydney and Melbourne and has been great!

I've not seen it, but I expect that it is a typo.

Get a screen shot, choose that option and sit tight. Don't wait for it to disappear! It is not extremely obvious that it's an error, as the other options have points back and you got the original status for free. I doubt they'd argue with you for long.

I renewed a few days ago using points; the number of points back was 5,000 so it looks like the typo's been fixed
