Hoping it's not true. I wanted to redeem MR points for this :(

Still currently available for November.

Back in the day it used to be O for redemptions, not sure about now.

Still seeing Suites available for redemption. Looking at a random date, a Suites fare is showing up as A instead of R

The only thing I can think of is R being used for the NEW A380 Suites .....

Whew! O, A class at least. I would have cried otherwise!
I figured it was an important fare class if it was being tweeted about and assumed the worst given they seem to be reducing the number of Suites on the new A380?

Suites savers still being released for JFK-SIN in June 2018. Hopefully the situation doesn't change in the next couple of months as I'm looking at that route for late Aug 2018.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

R class is a revenue class. When suites were first introduced as a 'class beyond first' the R bucket attracted a premium over the F class fare. That was dropped after a short while and you were able to book suites under the regular F class fares.

All they've done is remove R permanently (dunno if anyone still booked it?). It doesn't affect award tickets which book in to 'O'.

Same here Melbourne to Singapore in October - not happy. Should have stuck with my original booking via Sydney!

Argh! Just got off the phone to SQ - no A380 to Melbourne from October onwards. Mix of 777, A330 and A350.

Two A380 flights a day to Sydney though.

Also bumped from suites to 777 SIN-MEL in October. Just going to look at it as a first world problem I guess.

Yes it is a first world problem for us. We lost the A380 from Singapore to Los Angeles via Narita too.
