Transferring IHG Points to JAL Miles?

Hi All,

I am a IHG Spire Ambassador with 200k points. I need some advice around transferring points to JAL. I cant seem to find anything that makes actual sense about the ratio, how to do it, and then if I can then book the actual flight wiht the points via JAL? It looks like I need 100K JAL points, which should be fine I hope?

Happy to help with any questions on IHG as well. I live at their hotels...

200,000 will get you 40,000 with JAL.

bummer... not enough... off to buying a flight direct then via someone ... I can go from anywhere in the US and need to land in Narita. Cheapest out of LAX SFO I'm guessing?

I'd look at buying AAdvantage points.

Alaska and Avianca also options to buy miles. Understand Alaska will offer redemptions on JL later in year
