Hello,
I am finally on my way to take a big leap into the booking with miles pond and I have transferred my first batch of points from Amex to Krisflyer. I am trying to pool them all into his account as we will book our tickets together.
I have expiring points in my account and I was trying to get them across to his account, but I cant find a way to do it. Is it impossible or am I missing something? I am so sure it was possible to do, at least on the old website. I am about 10,000 points short unless I can transfer these ones across.

.
Only way I can think of to do it is by transferring to Velocity and then transferring back after using family pooling. But you'd lose around 45% of your points doing that.

You should be ok if you also transferred to your KrisFlyer account. Make one booking from his account and one booking from your account and call to link the bookings.

Well, I didnt realise this until I already put in for a bulk transfer to his account from Amex. But I am planning a stopover and swap in rewards seats in Singapore so I will book PER-SIN and SIN-> and the points will be used in one way or another... or I will just transfer the points expiring to VA. Its not a lot but I can use them when travelling with VA as well. Lesson learned I guess :)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
