Transfer points (Amplify to Velocity) then transfer (Velocity to Etihad Guest)?

Hi there
Since Etihad have partnered with Virgin, wondering if it is possible to transfer Amplify points on St George to Velocity and then transfer from Velocity to Etihad?

IME the use of "points" between partner airlines does not involve transferring them from one airlines FF program to another...

The points are used (where allowed) to purchase reward flights on said partners....

I'd suggest your idea is unlikely to be possible.....
