Also on SYD-NOU! It was always a bit odd not to have champagne in J flying SYD-NOU on QF metal, whilst the champagne is flowing on the QF codeshare on SB. But apparently BNE-NOU is still not worth champagne...

It's wrong to drink sparkling wine when flying to France:p (Special Collectivity of France to be politically correct)

Little more than a return to previous service standards (save the amenity kit).

I can't think of an airline that doesn't offer champagne on an international flight in business class (save for dry airlines, and perhaps American carrier short-haul intra-Americas).

Even Emirates offers Moët in J. If anyone had an "excuse" not to it would be them.

Qantas's excuse is they don't have any money. This is not an excuse that Emirates could use and still keep a straight face :)

I'd still choose a EK A380 with champagne all day over a QF 737.. but a step in the right direction :)
Enjoy!
