Hi all, looking for recommendations for a "travel towel".
Due to luggage restrictions in our hire car (Hyundai iMax) the 6 of us can only have 1 large case per couple for a 10 day NZ holiday.
Several of our booked activities require us to bring a towel, and using the accommodations towels is not an option as we will be in-between locations.
Does anyone have any recommendations for small absorbent travel towels.??

Microfibre towel. Very absorbent, quick to dry, various sizes and easy to pack.

Hubby uses them for his daily swim, Ive bought them off ebay and from Kathmandu. Similar product, both good.

As above. Those adventure travel stores have them. They come in various sizes. Only issue I have is if its really cold, you can't exactly wrap yourself in the towel. However, for just drying off they do the trick extremely well and are very compact.

And if travelling with ladies with longer hair, I suggest the Big W Turbie Twist (with the elastic loop, not the ebay button types). Also microfibre and I always travel with one of these as I find hotel towels dont the job as good as these.

There are at least two types of lightweight travel towels that I've used: the softer microfibre in a knitted-like texture; the other is more a chamois-like texture. I have found the former is better. It's softer and tends not to drag on the skin like the chamois-type.
