Like WP/SG to Gold, PS to Silver? Or is it only WP to Gold and SG to Silver?

Overheard a QFF member doing this (a Staus match) in the MEL DJ lounge a while back, I think they only matched QF SG & WP up to DJ gold

So silver QP members, you're out of luck here sorry

You hardly need to be status matched in your situation. How about you investigate going the other way…

Tier Matching at DJ - Process

I think I'll wait until DJ reveal the details behind their move upmarket, what changes they are making to their metal, lounges, service and FF program before I ask for a comp match to try them out again.

Don't really want one now while they are in status quo, but would definitely consider once they have some of their enhancements actually implemented, not just 'coming'.

You may find they'll only comp you once as well...?

I am doing the same. I'd add - more MEL-LAX frequencies... (I guess that'd require more aircraft)

I just sent off an email to DJ with my partner's details, so hopefully he'll get matched (he's flying DJ next week). I'm going to wait until I click over to QF WP (in 1 weeks time), and then give it a go.

Will let you know if it's matched. Thanks for the info.

Must admit I would have thought DJ would be making sure they attend to this quicker than the stated 7 days, if they have not even read the emails yet then thats not a good start.

Still no action, I am beginning to think the process was made up on the spot, and the email address given was for a circular filing system.

There has been a small backlog to clear up, but I've been told this is being worked on now.

OT but the tag I use sends at the point of the email being opened. I am yet to find anyone who does not respond automatically.

I guess it is not totally fool proof though.
