My view from the after lunch retail office yesterday.

The office was Perfecta cherries at Ulverstone. Here is my purchase.

Celebrating the last time I will be able to fill myself with Tassie cherries. Doubtful we would return in their cherry season.
As a matter of interest, from someone in a state with a very small cherry industry, what is the sort of per kg price you expect to see at these sort of farm shops? My wife loves cherries but I can take or leave them.

This morning we rode past the Castledaire Miniature Railway as they were preparing for a special event. It has been going since 1963 and is on the banks of the Canning River in Wilson. You can see how close it is to the river in some of the photos. It runs on a 7 1/4'' gauge. (I have blurred the faces of the volunteers as though we asked if it was ok to take photos some came out a bit too clear.)

The Engine House and marshalling yard - suitably sized. Thomas would fit in very well here.

There are two stations on the line but today they were only picking up passengers from the one at Kent St Weir further upstream.
