Naturally I’m supporting the Wallabies in the late game.

And in the first match I’m “supporting” Argentina… mostly because I support Australia and whoever is playing New Zealand.;)

I can't believe that this hasn't become a shrine or older geologists.

He's flown under my radar (which is bad, as I was based in Zeehan for a while), but not under others' Frank Long

The Sudanese donuts at Evandale markets were a disappointment; spicy pretzel I'd score a 6/10. I am looking forward to the cherry pie, though. (Confession: I had a no-calorie jam donut at Campbell Town on the way home - there is a LOT of jam in them!! )

drron and I had dinner the previous evening at Timbre, at Velo wines just outside Launnie. Menu took a bit to get your mind around, but the result was very good.

The town of Karosta, just north of Liepaja. Relics from an era of Soviet occupation. The southern end of the old forts.

Don't forget those Soviet style concrete blocks of flats. Nice juxtaposition against the church in the background.

I'm guessing that is the well-known site at Pindar, E of Mullewa?

Not so much rare, but in specific locations rather than spread everywhere, so it pays to know where to go.

Quite possibly. They headed to Pindar and Mullewa. I didn't get further details than that.

Well I can add the long route home... Tracks flooded so currently on the train out to Cambridge and then back towards London 😱

At least I can claim delay repay from Greater Anglia (Stansted Express).

Back to the HI at MKE today and a suite on the second floor affording superb views over what is a fabulous car park. I particularly like what they have done with the trees. Those fans of regional fast food outlets will spot the Culver's with a build up of traffic through its drive through.
