The view from my "office"

Today's soothing office view is Pencil Pine Creek, Cradle Mountain National Park. A short Trip Report involving plants here:

A week behind the curve, but got away for some thoroughly needed R&R in the Cotswolds given international travel is pretty much dead again. A few pics from a short stroll through a circular walk from Sapperton through the valley and Siccaridge Woods ending up in Frampton Mansell. Great views from the pub sitting outside to eat and a nice warm 13. Perfect.

Plenty of sloe berries around, should really go out and pick some more but we already have 4 bottles here waiting to be cracked open from last year's batch we made.

Beautiful photos - don't forget I'll be over at some stage and I'll need at least two bottles

We stayed in Stratton on an exceptional deal (£99 for 2 nights including full English breakfast), so it was only a short walk into Cirencester (or Corinium in the old Roman times). The Charter Market runs on a Sunday and Monday with a very old church as the backdrop, so we managed to have a wander through that. It's a lot more upmarket than your typical London East End market....... kind of fits in with the area, property prices were not cheap around here! Nor are they in any part of the Cotswolds really. There was also an indoor market at The Corn Hall, that's where we met the artist Nellie Hearn and had a good chat with him while buying a piece of his artwork. I do love the local brick that the houses are made out of here.

I had to go into the office (London), but at least I was greeted with a nice sunrise.

My hockey club (in Surrey, UK) had a new astro laid over the summer too, plus my new stick from Perth arrived. Both together go very nicely ;)
