The view now from my home/office, a nice hailstorm in northern Brisbane suburbs. Was forecast to be a thunderstorm and as I was weeding the front lawn, watched it build from the south and move in. Lucky it was lunchtime. Hail was only 20c sized and not hard formed.

We copped that hailstorm too ! Decimated my frangipanis that had just come into full flower Stripped the flowers and leaves off the magnolias. I was worried about the solar panels on the roof !! The noise was incredible.

After a few poor efforts of late my faith in hotel check in staff has been restored. No upgrade at the Holiday Inn Dunstall Park and a wonderful "frosty" car park view today. I call this particular piece "Mundanity Restored".



For those of you wondering why I am staying at the HI at Dunstall park it is because my previous office - the HI at Junction 10 of the M6 in Walsall looks like this. :
