Awesome views, great cover, cloudless skies and temperatures high enough that you could do both snow skiing and water skiing in the one run.

blackcat20 and anat0l are two of the most intelligent members I know, so they are wealthy in knowledge, just not yet the folding stuff.

BC seems to have a pretty healthy budget for wine :)

Absolutely.

A sudden realisation of that this month, when I realised that the stress of trying to accumulate $ funds that (according to my accountant) I needed for retirement was potentially a wasted effort as I might not have made it to retirement. Which is not that long away. And have already informed the accountant of that.

Which means I am going to spend more time posting pictures of glorious 'Views from my Office' in future. Once I can fly again. :(

I'm careful with my wine purchases, and choose not to spend money on things like coffees and work lunches. We budget carefully so that we can enjoy our passions of wine and travel (and fabric in my case).

Indeed. Its about priority spending. Work lunches add up hugely and then there is the coffee. And when did a sandwich jump to $8! Seriously.

Good thing I dont actually drink coffee. And yes, a ripoff for a staple item....

Keep going in the Melbourne and Sydney CBDs now.

Not quite Manhattan, but good to be home again:

Nice spot - Do you live in one of those apt blocks on Beach St?

It was indeed a stunning sky this morning. Almost the same view from my window - but rather more pinks and reds.
We must be almost in line - but my window is a couple of km towards the sunrise, I would say. :)

I can maybe cope with the sandwich (or do without) but a cosmo cost me $25 at the IC in Sydney the other week, and it was nothing spectacular. Though I did have a second to see if they had improved
Cheaper on a cruise ship, eh, Pushka
