The view from my "office"

For those that haven’t seen EMD airport, this was my office for 15 mins on arrival and 50 for departure (inbound delayed but no announcement - I checked FR 24 and knew where it was). 1 line for security and ion scan - I’m sure they get a number of positives a week.

Looks like it’s at White Bay not the OPT so people will need to get into the city somehow as there is almost no public transport there. Because it is a small ship it would’ve fitted under the bridge.
Ah. Got my perspective wrong! Agree it’s the awful place to Berth. Did a cruise with mum from there. Going under the bridge was fun though.

Our February cruise on the Silver Muse Goes out from White Bay - we are looking forward to sailing undef the Bridge !!

It's the ground side that is difficult. My brother does passport checks there and talks about access issues. Sailing under the bridge of course is another matter entirely.

Sydney Olympic Park last night as the super cell came through. It went from fine to dark skies to almost zero visibility in minutes. This was when it had cleared a little. Massive amounts of water on the road. And some poor soccer fans caught in it too.

Not much wind this morning so time to change the flag on APH. Last time I posted some pics I’d missed the action on top. Took about half an hour or so.

Nearly there, going up.

All the smaller cruise ships usually are shunted to White Bay.
The Seabourn Sojourn was seen from our lunch time office in Beauty Point.
