I opened my USDM account on 01/04/2014 according to the email header. The account has to be 12 days old - will I qualify on the last day? If so does someone trustworthy want to share miles with me as I don't have any.

Is there somewhere within the online system where I can verify the date of my account? I was sure it was 31/03 but want to check.

Dale.

OMG!!

Didn't expect this offer, it's been 6 months I think since the last share offer, but then USDM offer just keeps rolling on. In some ways not a suprise.

My dilemma is, I already have way too many points in the piggy bank, and not enough leave to use them quickly. Though not as good as *A, some reasonable options on CX and MH on offer. Even found a QF F seat :)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Anyone willing to do a share and share back? I've only got 10K miles left...

Yes I get that but on the share page itself no mention, normally you see the bonus in the drop down box and you also see some T&C's at the bottom of the page (e.g limiting the share to 50K per recipient).

I know we talked briefly about this last year Fifa, now I'm fully interested in the DM goodness.

Any pointers to a thread for DM noobs?

As others have mentioned, your account will need to have been open for at least 12 days.
Lots of info here.

Happy reading :).

Just had a look at Fifa's link. But, is there a thread that explains the very basics of how and why this share promo actually works and what it means.

Well, as a fairly recent convert I bought 100K miles for my 'father' and the same for myself. I know this offer was on not long ago, so I was hoping that post 1 of a previous thread may explain what this is all about. The only bit I kinda get here is the attraction of the word 'bonus'. So is the idea to move 'his' miles to me and get somke bous doing so, or as I don't really understand the implications, or just leave them in his name and eventually book for myself from his account.

This promo is so lucrative because 50,000 miles are generated by USD567. In a 100% buy or gift promo the cost of 50,000 miles is USD940.

The blogs explains it pretty well, it's the cheapest way of getting miles compared to buying, but you need a friend with some to begin with.

Quite surprised to see this again. Currently holding 300k miles across 2 accounts... not sure if I want to go big again...
