I thought that was a really nice list, a few things I would add.

Learn how to shave properly. I mean a proper wet shave, with a brush and soap, not chemical foam.
Learn how to tie a tie, and a few different knots for different tie fabrics/events.
Be nice to people, they will be nice back.
Apologies are not always necessary, sometimes the explanation will suffice.
Learn how to clean and shine your shoes.

Sounds like mostly a bunch of macho BS to me ;) Throw a punch? Come on.

I haven't read the list, but if it does say it there is a time and place to throw a punch and you may as well know how to do it... Knowing that you are relatively able to handle yourself in any situation can give you confidence, which if manifested correctly, means you may not ever have to throw one...

Recently started doing this, it's almost relaxing!

I have flirted with a proper wet shave at times. Sadly I went through a period of a sulphur allergy so soap was not my friend.

Shoe shining is almost cathartic. My father was in the air force and I spent four years in the air cadets - you didnt get much shinier shoes than mine.

It does go on to say, or buy them a beer and sort it out.

I wet shave every morning, and have used a badger hair brush and soap for about 12 years. The ritual of it sets me up for the day as you can't really rush it. I recently got an open blade razor but I'm not quite confident enough to use this every day.

Shoe shining is a great way to wind out the weekend, although I recently found out I have been doing it all wrong. I've been using brushes and solvent based waxes rather than cloths and natural. oops:/

Just went for an open razor shave at my barber in advance of a job interview - I could get used to this...

Interesting topic, but as its not about FF programs or travel, I have moved to the Playground. Please continue to follow this thread in its new home.

Its a bit hard to lie flat and do it yourself, but if you shave after a hot shower and use a damp cloth to clean the blade after each stroke you can get pretty close. All you need to complete the experience is some old man aftershave. Brut anyone?

Believe or not I can do a lot of things on that list.

I can also do a lot of things that are not on that list. ;)
