I don't remember hearing anything about this at the time...on Feb 2 an EY from AUH to MEL had to divert to SIN due to systems going down after turbulence.

Were any AFF's on the flight?

Funny enough the Herald Sun seem to be confused between EY and EK going by the heading in the article

There was a thread about it on here with a member on that flight

All the media articles have just vanished from existence in my browser searches which is interesting, not sure if it is just me, I can't even find it mentioned on Aviation Herald either so may be a dubious report or is still being investigated. If it was a Thales Airspeed issue on the EY A340 on the 2nd Feb then I think Wayne Bourke may just be a lucky guy.

ps: Note to self not to mention the avherald.com website to anyone whom could be scared of flying

I suspect it is this report on AVHerald: Incident: Etihad A346 over Indian Ocean on Feb 3rd 2013, turbulence caused NAV ADR DISAGREE

That was the one I was thinking about thanks. It just flagged my interest because the last time I heard about a NAV ADR disagreement on the A330/A340 was a couple of Frenchmen whom got themselves into significantly more trouble over the Atlantic Ocean. But I would be guessing that there were similarities and differences in the equipment but obviously handled differently by a different crew - maybe even through some of the learnings that came out of the tragedy of AF447.
