Hi All

I just booked a Sydney to Seoul (incheon) flight (QF367 / return 368) in March, and then went to book the seat.
I am Qantas Gold
This now looks like it is an A380
The only seats it shows is rows 58/59/60 A-K and 61A
I seem to recall on my last flight there last Sept I was near the front on an A330.
Any idea as to what these seats are like and which is the best as they are all right down the back. I prefer Window.
Any way I can try to get a better seat.
Tried to opt for an upgrade but not available on the ticket I have.

Any help appreciated.

Mike

Yeah, QF flight numbers between 200 and 399 represent intenrational codeshares.

Have you checked the booking on the Asiana website?

If you call Asiana, they might be able to help out. As it's a codeshare, QF get a set number of seats that are theirs to sell - that includes restricting actual seats on the aircraft, at least when on the QF site.

(No experience in the above however)

Not all codeshares are like that though

Some seats are allocated to Qf and the rest to Oz. At checkin, you can choose ANY available seat but not before.

I thought the ICN OZ codeshare was QF301/302. I guess they changed it at some point?

With many airlines, you can generally tell where a flight (in terms of general region or direction) is going, and what type of flight it is based on the number.
eg,
QF1-199 - Qantas International (odd outbound, even inbound)
QF200-399 - Qantas International Codeshare
QF400-1399 - Qantas Mainline Domestic
QF1400-2999 - QantasLink
QF3000-4999 - Other airline codeshare
QF5000-5999 - JQ operated
etc

Bumping this- did you get lounge access in Seoul on the way home?
