Hi Guys,

A simple google search a week ago for some info on upgrading Qantas flights uncovered this site and I have been glued to the screen ever since. I now feel like I've cracked the Da Vinci code or something after reading through this site. Completely eye opening, although I haven't slept properly in over a week due to researching this site and trying to filter and comprehend all the information and benefits of frequent flying.

So thank you!

A little about me.
Fifo worker (BNE-MKY mostly, with the odd BNE-MOV) although I hate the dash 8's!
I chose one airline that being Qantas.

I have jumped the gun a little with my username as I'm still SG, but have everything booked ahead to turn WP in 2 months. Thanks to one status run OOL-SYD-AKL return in J (I think I'm getting the lingo)

I thought I better post here before asking dumb questions in the Qantas FF forum.

I just have so many questions that I'm stressing out!
I think the best thing to do is take another week of reading (particularly the One world award and Classic upgrade award threads)
and then ask some questions.
Hopefully I can trap one of you in the Brisbane QP for a while

The biggest thing (IMHO) to learn here is that very few of us know everything about FF. Through this site though we have the ability to ask the questions as someone here will have the needed answers.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Im just thankful I found this place, Ive already learnt so much that just doesnt seem readily available on the qantas website. In a months time after many late nights perusing this page, I feel I will be deadly when it comes to booking rtw trips, credit card churning and classic reward upgrades ☺
