Looking at options now with so many devaluations flying (!) around.
Does anyone know the minimum income required to apply for this card ?
(Apologies in advance if it has been answered further up the thread and I've missed it).

It should be $75K, but it's only one factor of the decision. Some people have more than that income got knocked back, but some people got approved for having less income lower than that, you will never know until you submit your application. I believe banks have their own tools to assess applications.

I was rejected for this card but then approved for the Amplify Business Visa (60,000 points). So go figure!

But it was an arduous process. I first applied 8 Feb and only just got approved today - 15 April.

Never had to wait so long and make so many inquiries to get it over the line. Plus very detailed questions about multiple aspects of my application.

Is St George just swamped/overstaffed? I guess the banking royal commission is having an impact on all financial institutions too...

No my husband has only been texting them so far and they say they have large numbers of applications. Maybe he will phone them, did you have a number @goldenhorn the number we text on you cannot call it.

Thanks @goldenhorn we phoned them and got moved through to a couple of operators. The last one said that it is in the verification process and will be 3 days.

Does St George ever send out credit limit increase offers these days? This has become a favoured card since Amex's recent devaluation and I need a much higher credit limit than I currently have....the only way it seems to increase the credit limit is to go through a formal application process (and credit check) which I prefer not to... I assume credit limit increase offers have dried up since the Royal Commission? :(

Yes its my understanding that banks are no longer allowed to proactively offer you credit increases.

I got one of these cards 2 weeks ago and planned to get Mrd one shortly, To give max time for eligible spend. Thought I had ample time
Grr, the $0 fee offer has disappeared now charging reduced annual fee $179. Anyone know what the offer expiry date was. Any ideas To get round this

My husband applied 4 weeks ago still waiting and we will be really annoyed if they want to charge an annual fee now as when he applied it was $0

OK so I applied back on 12 Feb 2019 but approval and actual physical card were a bit late, just logged in and noticed that St George sneaked in the $179 annual fee on the 14th April (first transaction on card 15th April), I am pretty sure the T&C I saw were $0 fee for fist year. Will be giving them a call, just a reminder to always screenshot and save T&C's when churning.

Yes I too am concerned that when and if approval comes through, that they will want to charge an annual fee. When we applied it was $0 fee, but alas we did not take a screen shot. Hoping someone has a screen shot also.

Come on team. You really need to be taking screenshots and running a spreadsheet. That way you know where you stand and when your exclusion date is up so that you can reapply.

Most offers infer that you only have to apply by a particular date. But, because there are multiple offers and links out there, it’s hard to rely on someone else’s copy of the t&c’s.

Some offerrs say you have to apply and be approved by the promo date.

Just wondering how long I should wait for the 80k bonus points to come into my account?
Received my monthly QFF point deposit yesterday, but was only my basic spend points (plus birthday bonus), but no 80k bonus :( have definitely spent over the $4k too.

Look at how long it said to wait in the T&Cs when you signed up. If not there on time per the T&Cs then call the bank and chase them.

Was also hoping they would post with the second statement points but no luck - guess will have to wait the full time specified in the T+Cs (12 weeks i think).

I just received this card never having been a St G customer before, and I was 'intrigued' with the process, having had cards with almost every other major bank + AMEX. I don't know if it's a reflection on process changes since the RC, but I suspect not. Whilst my circumstances probably aren't straight-forward, I note with interest the other posters who report just how laborious the process was and that was my experience too. Conditionally approved instantly, but then multiple requests for 'more information'.

There were also 'little things' like having to go to the branch to get the cards, and not being able to apply online for additional card holders.

I can't quite work-out if they're just better at due diligence than their competitors, or just a bit less tech-saavy - I'll give them the benefit of the doubt...!

I've signed up to receive QFF points, as I wanted the sign-up bonus in QFF points, but I want to switch to Amplify for general spend asap. I understand sign-up bonus can take up to 12 weeks to post. I've also quickly met my minimum spend criteria (assuming that EBP doesn't invalidate any spending conditions for this purpose).

Question 1 - will I still receive my sign-on bonus QFF points if I switch to Amplify now that I've met minimum spend, but BEFORE sign-up QFF points are posted to my account?

Question 2 - how does the birthday bonus work if I switch from QFF to Amplify before it's due to apply for me? (I assume they apply the 10% accordingly to each of the points you've earnt in QFF and Amplify)
