Starwood Pacific - One Time 50% Off Group Dining for 4 Westin or 8 Other Properties

I have 2 of these certificates; expires end of Jun 2017. 1 certificate per person please.

You get 50% off dining (food only) for up to 4 people at Westin Sydney or Westin Melbourne or when dining at any other Starwood property across AU, NC, Fiji or Samoa it can be used for up to 8 people (example Sheraton on the Park Sydney).

Valid 7 days week for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Priority will be given for anyone who has posted in the last year to the Starwood forum on this site.

The Starwood Pacific program is dead as of last Friday May 19th ...it has been replaced by Club Marriott APAC. The new site is going up now. The 50% dining is gone regrettably.

Very Interesting. I see one page on the Club Marriott APAC webpages listing all the Australian Starwood and Marriott hotels, but no inclusion of Starwood Hotels anywhere else.
Presumably you cannot join Star Privilege Pacific after 19 May according to your post.
However given my Starwood Privilege Pacific card and vouchers don't expire until February 2018, I would believe Starwood Hotels will need to honour them until then.
Guess I will be ringing Starwood Monday to make sure.

Star Privilege Pacific website still up and running - very odd.
Can't find anything about membership benefits for Club Marriott - all roads lead to an application form, guess you then get the hard sell phonecall.

Star Privileges will run for another year if you reeled BEFORE 2 fridays ago.

If you did not then your only option is Club Marriott.

Good to know Star Privilege will run for up to a year for those current members.
Fascinating to see how many Starwood properties Marriott added in Australia/Pacific. Roughly two Starwood hotels for each Marriott hotel that they had before.

I'm assuming membership is around $300+ a year, does it reduce after 1st year? Do you think it is still represents good value given the 50% disc on dining has gone?
