There should be good wet weather viewing of soggy ground operations.

(I'm on a Train heading in the opposite direct from the city centre - still raining here.)

The rain should clear at the airport in about an hour.

And i thought the weather in Perth yesterday was pretty cough... Trust Melbourne to match it and then some!!!

And is that the DJ lounge with standing room only??? Is this coz of all the new status comped QFF types or just everyone held up???

I'll trade your standing room for where I am right now...

Sitting on DJ868 just arrived from Sydney ... on the tarmac with 10 aircraft ahead of us, 3 of those waiting for non-existent empty gates at the Virgin terminal!

The guy sitting next to me counted 13 aircraft lined up waiting to take off as well.

Fun times ... at least you have wine and beer, they've only brought around water for us!

Thanks mate! They just said there are 7 aircraft ready to leave but they've been told it could be 60-90 minutes before they're cleared to push back!
