Dr Ralph your circumstances must be so different to that of our family. For all of our tribe we are staying with the non Qantas points earner and it is a winner. If any of my group churned it I would be thinking that they might need some medical help......
This card is providing wholesale travel thru points redemptions and being a wholesaler this very much appeals to me.

Yes but you spend a lot of money which gives you the points. For everyday mum and dad expenses churning with bonuses means more points long term.

Yes we definitely have different circumstances. This card gives you points on shire rates, water rates, car registrations and more that make this one valuable.
if I go Amex I might get 0.5 points on that sort of thing.

So do many other cards and if they don't I can go the perfect gift card, VISA ONLY 1 or similar product route.

Does anyone know what the income requirement for the Signature card is? Currently considering applying for the Sig for my wife (who is on sub $60k), so we can snag the larger bonus.

I cannot confirm for sure, but would suspect that it is $75K.

Anything with a minimum $15,000 credit limit is usually around that figure.

Yeah, I figured as much. All of the other $15k cards I've had in the past have been $75k income required.

Oh well, might stick with the regular Amplify Platinum for this one.

Follow up question...

What would you consider to be the better value here - 60k QFF or 70k Amplify (= 35k VFF or Kris)?

@cove I have seen you mention the x2 value of Krisflyer over QFF. Based on this, the Amplify Qantas promo appears to be basically the same as the Amplify Rewards variant in that the effective bonus points earn for the Qantas card of the is roughly double the earn of the Amplify Rewards card (60k QFF vs 35k Kris)

The only difference is that the Amplify card is only $49 for the 35k effective points, whereas the Qantas card is $99.

Seems to me that the better value in this scenario is bagging the 70k Amplify for $49.

I'm speaking from a churn and burn basis here.

Even from a churn basis it all depends on where you can/intend to use these points.

For me QFF points have a lot more value. Based on where I can use Krisflyer points I could never accept that they have x 2 value over QFF points. Despite what people may claim QFF flights are readily available if you plan and have flexibility.

And unless it just changed the Qantas option is $49 NOT $99.

UPDATE: Confirmed that this is $49 NOT $99. Use this link:

Note this is available until March 31, 2020.

If it was me, I'd bank the cheap QFF points now and churn straight away. If my experience is anything to go by you can have the points in your account by the end of the first statement.

I can't seem to find detail on the number of supplementary cards this product allows, can anyone assist? Got it approved fairly painlessly and will cancel the Citi prestige now, just concerned about the supplementaries because I recall seeing something about 1, but now can't find it.

yes that would work, I do use the supplementaries to dissect payments business/non business though. Do the St George statements list all transactions by date order only, or sub-categorised by the card used?

Hi everyone,
How long does it normally take for the bonus Amplify points to post ?

I got approved for the Amplify Platinum card 2 months ago, and have just spent past over 6k. (Mininum spending amount to get the 70K bonus points for the first year)

Does it really take 3 months for the bonus points to post ?
