Approval came through Thursday. What’s everyone’s experience with time until the card arrives? The usual 5-10 business days has been quoted.

Lower end of that in Sydney. The welcome pack arrived first and then the actual card 1-2 days later.

Slightly OT...

Has anyone had experience with the Travel Insurance that comes with this card?

Seems OK on first reading: Need to spend $500 per person travelling, on flights or pre-paid accommodation, and have return travel (flights) before you leave, to lock it in (amongst other things). Return travel can be on separate tickets. Trip can be up to 6 months.

had a couple of pending transactions mysteriously reversed I just noticed... and they sat in pending for a whole week beforehand.

I'm not the best one to answer that question. Apart from some Amex application I haven't applied for new CC for many, many years.

Do we predict sign on bonuses to increase soon given the recent devaluations?

Mrs Mac and I had no issues with this card early last year, but know several people who have recently. I wonder if the stricter criteria banks are applying are starting to have an impact?

It's now working - I've been approved for a pretty decent credit limit which is good as I want to use it with some friends in Canberra
