Just received an email on this promo:
Book between – 22[SUP]nd[/SUP] - 29[SUP]th[/SUP] January 2016, Fly between – 1[SUP]st[/SUP] February – 30[SUP]th[/SUP] June 2016.

Did a sample booking in business class BKK-FCO-BKK and the all-in fare was THB 39,010 (AUD 1,546).

Very hard to beat.

Pity we have already booked something similar with Finnair, Having flown with Srilankan several times in J, I have no problem in recommending them. Plus that price above is much lowere than I have paid previously.

Not a major issue, but it could mean the difference between achieving WP this year or not.

That's correct, BKK-CMB used to be 80, but it got simplyandfaired to 60.

Apologies, you're correct. It's 80 SCs in J for SIN-CMB and KUL-CMB... I assumed it would be the same for BKK-CMB but it's only 60.

SIN-LHR return in J is around SGD/AUD 2,160. With several transit options in CMB.

If the transit in CMB is 8-24 hours you get a hotel stay included (or used to).

I get airfare of HKD2546 with or without the discount unless I have missed something in the terms and conditions that excludes the discount or if the discount is applied at the end of booking process and not the beginning.

I think RJ might be a better option - ~HKD2080 round trip in economy.

But - for USD30 more you can fly round-trip in business class on Hong Kong Airlines (various late night departures from HKG, day and night flights ex BKK)

Even that's cheap compared to BKK-HKG. UL business class was never full but looking at some of their airfares I can see why.

I am not sure RJ flies to/from HKG those nights. Certainly confusing since RJ stopped BKK-KUL tag flights.

There's plenty of award space available at 24000/28000 points plus HKD386.
