For those looking for connections from Australia, SQ have added a fourth daily service (on 77W) leaving late evening SIN time (connecting with afternoon departures from Australia). This is 4x weekly from early Sep and daily from mid October. This is in addition to recent upgrading of route from 2xA380 + 1x77W to 3xA380 services. More details here.

Thanks. In the article it says it's the flagship route... Is this true? Or is the flagship LAX, SFO or even HKG?

Well SQ1 serves SFO-HKG-SIN. SIN-EWR has the prestige of being the worlds longest commercial passenger route. However with 3xA380 services and now a 77W flying a 13 hr route it would be reasonable to conclude that it is their flagship route (along with SYD-SIN which is also a 4x daily medium-long haul route).

Alby that was just what I was thinking too.
LHR is quite a distance from PER but once there we find lots of things to do.
