G'day all,
Me and gf are planning a week-long vacation in New Caledonia. I've got lots of SPG points recently so we're planning 3 days in Noumea and 5 days in Ile des Pins.
Has anyone stayed in them recently? Any feedback / views you'd share, especially on recognition of SPG status benefits?
Cheers!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I can't provide any input however you might get some response/s from the FT/SPG/hotel thread which you have posted in. Good luck.

I have only read/researched/looked at Ile des Pins a year or so ago but didn't follow through with going to NC.

Hi

The Meridien in Noumea is getting old and services are not good but if you can stay a week in New Caledonia without paying very high prices on hotels i strongly suggest to use your points.
The Meridien in Isle of Pines is very nice but don't expect more services there. 2 days are enough there.
If you have a budget to spend in another hotel (not Starwood one) i recommend you the Chateau Royal (brand new) with studio room where you can cook if you don't want to spend a lot of money in restaurants.
Hope it will help.
