Siem Reap to Hanoi with VN in J

Bought Y fares and decided to upgrade to J via optiontown at a cost of $100. Boarded the plane and was told I could sit anywhere. Where did I sit? .... 1A. Didn't realise I was the only one in J until it landed and everyone had to wait until I got off ...... YES everyone. Felt uneasy with everyone waiting and looking at you.

It was a A321 exiting up front. Several tour groups with some aussies, americans and europeans. It would be hilarious if I could wander my way thru the cabin and do the royal wave. Some may laugh, some may not see the funny side and some may think "d**khead", "w**ker" etc.

puppysparkes, you were here not long ago. Did you manage to wander into Ta Hien street in the old quarter at night? The transformation is just unbelievable. Shops becomes bars, plastic stools, tables all along the sidewalk. People alike 2-3 deep. Just one big party.

Not that I recall. We did the night markets. Plenty of cheap booze around. Thanks for the post it sounds like a great night. It's now on my to do list when I return. We did end up in the backpackers area which was full of ruckus.

I'm a tad envious right now.
