Hi guys, just a quick question, I am flying out in exactly four weeks (Singapore, Japan, USA, UAE and Thailand) and have roughly 3/4's in total of pages that are blank in my passport .... is there enough space for all the stamps and Japanese sticker, or should I renew my passport? I know it takes three weeks (normal) so I should have time but my anxiety relates to the unforeseen, unexpected, once in a hundred thousand mistake that the new passport might be delayed causing all sorts of issues (and potentially missing my own wedding too). If I keep my current passport and they run out of space, I guess they could always stamp over the tops of existing stamps right? Anyway, TIA.

With less than 2 blank pages you can get lectured by immigration agents. They will not stamp over previous stamps. Very few countries have specific number of blank page to enter, but usually you need at least 1 blank page.

UAE stamps are huge, so entry and exit can take two thirds of a page.

Thanks I did look at the UAE stamps and it does take alot of space.

Yes...... :)

Impressive! Especially given the fact many countries don't use stamps anymore.
To answer your question, I wouldn't bother to renew for lack of space. I'm sure they will find a place to stamp and you won't miss any flight for that reason.
Btw I'm saying that based on the reports of a good friend of mine who is a professional tennis player and he always runs out of space but don't bother to replace until every page is 100% full and was double stamped already :)
But then again, if you're stressed about it just pay any buy your peace of mind.

If you will need a full-page visa/sticker for any of those countries, then you will need at least one totally blank page.
