Short hop flights to London

I am allergic to long haul flights and unfortunately need to get from London to Perth, Western Australia. Can anybody recommend a way with short flights, preferably daylight, don't mind staying one or two nights at each stop, depending on arrival times, preferably tourist friendly stopover locations. Will the cost be prohibitive? Time of year approximately mid May.

What's your time limit on flight length? One option is to take a flight to SIN or KUL,. a night or two, then a morning departure to London. Still 13-14 hrs though, the fact that you leave 9am PER time and arrive in London at about 10pm-11pm PER time makes these bearable. Otherwise you could do hops via Singapore (or KL), Colombo and then Middle East or Turkey, then London ... fare might be quite expensive though .. .maybe look at one fare to SIN or KL and then a separate fare on a middle eastern carrier with stopover in the middle east.

Coming back more difficult to get day time flights though, although should be just about possible via Middle East and SE Asia.

The Emirates one suggested through Dubai and Singapore would be good.
Another one to consider is Oman Airlines,

MCT-KUL/SIN
KUL/SIN-PER
The longest flight is the LHR-MCT leg at around 7h30. Muscat is a pretty nice stop over destination and personally I think they offer an excellent service.
