So I had a call this morning from Secure Sentinel (an asian-based call centre) who rang to comment that I had received my membership via Velocity and the girl said "we notice your complimentary Velocity Secure Sentinel has come up for renewal but you have not acted on it!". I tried to interject constantly to say I was not interested in renewing, and she finished her spiel about how wonderful it was. I quite politely but firmly said "thank you not interested in renewing" and she laid it on. Thick. Asked me why I didn't want to renew and then still tried to change my mind. Her hang-up line was "well if there is anything we can do to change your mind please call us back on ...".
Anyone else had this yet? Was rather annoying really (I know it's not a VA thing but still, it's poor form on them to push so hard when told a 'no').
