I'm flying pe sfo-syd and was allocated seat 37b. I am now able to move seats other than the bulkhead row.

Has anyone flown pe that can advise if it's worth me moving to the second row ailse in the two seat section? One benefit I see retaining 37b is there is no one behind me. I tend not to recline much due to the comfort of those behind me. I realize this is a subjective ?, just wanting to get an idea of the comfort sitting between rows.

I've put in for pts. upgrade and am hoping for this but just in case.
cheers

Beware of the fact that the seat pitch is lower in the centre seating section. I think that it is 38 inches vs 42 on the outside section. 37b sounds good.

Being a Gold FF and in premium almost guarantees the points upgrade so there is nothing to worry about.

Please let us know how you get on with the upgrade.

After preallocating 37J and K for the first flight of our honeymoon, which I thought would have been awesome, we rocked up to checkin to find that our seats had been given away and that they would give us 'better seats' at the front - 34D and E, which are both in the centre and at the bulkhead. By the time I realised we'd been gipped, it was too late and quite frankly, without status (at the time) they weren't going to do jack to help us get our allocated seats back.

It's not the worst thing in the world, and it's certainly better than Y, but with the bulkhead limiting footspace, nowhere to put shoes or rest your feet, and (as mentioned earlier) smaller seat pitch, it is about the suckiest place to be in the PE cabin. Take the side seats!
