Row 30 in the 66J-seat 4 class 744s certainly uses J seats, but are you sure you're on one of the 66J aircraft? What config is checkmytrip showing - 2-4-2 or 2-3-2?

If it's 2-3-2, then you're in luck.

Has anyone been in PE on QF107/108? I have Row 30 in PE and it seems it MAY be a J style seat in PE.

I have seat 37 on QF107 and 108. I booked in economy and got a PE seat. Apparently its a soft reconfig - Meaning that the seats are PE (or J in your case) but the service will be based on the class booked.

Im happy - Paid $1k for Economy SYD-JFK-SYD and Im getting a PE seat. The PE fare would have been around $5k.

Actually, you must be in a J seat. The seat plans for the 744s show that every time there is a row 30, it is a J seat.

(The two-class 744s are different, but it won't be a 2-class for 107/108.)

I had a look on the QF website and this is the only config that had a row 30. From all reports looking good!!:) Not too worried about the PE service, room is what itś all about (mostly!)

Just flew in on QF108 from LAX this morning. We had booked Y and had been allocated row 39 in PE, ie PE seat, Y service. At check-in, boarding pass beeped and we were re-allocated PE boarding passes, row 34. This was the front row bulk head of PE, just behind the curtain to business. We received full PE service.

On the way over we flew QF 93, also allocated row 39 which we flew in. I can confirm that this was Y service in PE seats and only the first few rows of PE actually had PE service.

Cheers
