Schedule change leads to 40 min connection. Advice?

Hi all.
Hoping for some advice. Time being of the essence with the impending merger.
I have an award trip booked 6 months ago for travel this June.
On my return leg I am flying nh801 which connected to sq255. Originally this allowed for a 1:10 minute transfer at changi. Nh801 now has been rescheduled for 30 minutes later leaving me only 40 minutes.
The ticket is still issued but my fear is this will not be enough time.
Should I look to rework the booking now before the changeover to one world?
atm there is some award availabilty but it is either adding more flights or going via bkk in economy.
Should I just leave it alone?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you have flexibility... technically it's their issue, as it's all on one booking right?
