Anyone else having problems of late?

- 4 3K flights in Jan, didnt credit. Made claim. 16 days, no response. Had to email boarding passes, credited day 19 or 20 from claim.

- the latest, QR, flight 16 feb DOH/MNL did not credit. oddly my return MNL/DOH on the 26th did credit ok the next day after flight.
I filed a missing points claim, waited 16 days sent email with boarding pass. Got email back. we are working on it. ok....5 days later, check account and this is listed

UNSUCCESSFUL - NO RECORD OF TRAVEL QR 932 ERR 16FEB18 MNL/DOH

Note the city pair... not DOH/MNL as claimed, but MNL/DOH (eys I double checked the email with the original claim to make sure I didnt screw up). They reversed it and didn't bother checking. Thanks Qantas. Even though the MNL/DOH city pair had already credited ok for the 26th.

Anyone else having problems like this of late?

There is something going on.

Earlier this month I flew quite a few I class sectors on AA within North America; all on the one booking and a week later none had posted.

I then flew a single segment on AA another booking in O class and it posted the next day.

Disgruntled, I pt in a claim for the oldest two segments - they posted five days later (over a weekend).

Since then I have been putting missing points claims in a few at a time and they have been posting a day or two later.

The Qantas computer needs a reboot and the work experience kids aren't in until the Easter holidays.

Qantas did something similar to me in January. My partner and I submitted a missing points claim along with our boarding passes.

First attempt, they knocked it back saying ineligible fare bucket (MH Z)
Second attempt, I insisted the fare was eligible with reference to the partner earning table. They processed my partner's claim correctly but my statement showed the same "no record of travel" message. They'd entered the date incorrectly for my claim.
Third attempt, my points/SC were finally credited.

It really shouldn't be this hard.

Interesting, slightly glad to know its not just me, but sad to know that it is.

Disconcerting as i'm pushing hard for extras on every trip to get from LTS to LTG.

Yep you are not alone.
I have also noticed increased lag on recent flights (recent = this year).

In the past I have typically had JQ/3K credit within several business days at the most, even though official T&C allows for _much_ longer, (6 weeks I think ??)
However on my last 4 flights there has been no sign after 1.5-2 weeks, and I have raised missing points claims.
Points turned up after that, but it is unclear whether this was because I raised the claim or simply that this was when they would have dropped anyway.
So yes there does seem to either be an increase in the processing delay or possibly even that they are going missing.
So maybe good idea to keep up the paranoid habit of retaining all boarding passes.

cheers

Ridiculous that its coming to that (have started that this year as well following 3K issues). And paper boarding passes too, doesnt seem they accepted my eboarding pass or they would have got my claim right the first time.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

There's a thread in the JQ forum regarding late posting JQ and 3K flights.

About 24 days for me for JQ but only 2-3 days for 3K flights.

I wonder what changed and when.
If it's also affecting other carriers then it could be the way an interface file is received/processed by Qantas.

If it's an extract they're not always 100% available.

Sorted, only took 37 days since i flew, 4 emails, facebook msgs and the online help chat on the website.

It's not just other airlines. Some recent Qantas paid flights were recorded as award. Corrected only after chase up.

Damn I'm so shattered.
Flew Cathay Pacific from Taipei to London via Hong Kong return last month, and I've been waiting for points and status to arrive. After some reading online, I realised my Cathay Pacific Q Class aren't eligible to be credited.

That was the last trip so I could retain Gold :(
Got 3 months to go to earn 115 points

you need to check the partner earning tables on qantas before you book! then determine what will and wont earn.

115 should be pretty easy to get, just check the status run threads!
