Hi All,
I'm in the (long) process of planning my first DONE4. Currently I'm quite flexible with my North America segments and would like to maximise SC where if I can.
I understand with DONE4, if the AA flight does not have J then you'd be placed in F. The bonus being that the QF SC would be against F instead of J. I plan to take advantage of this where I can.
Here's my question - is there an easy way to determine which AA flights only has F and doesn't have J?
So far I'm guessing based on the aircraft type (e.g. AB6 seat plan on aa.com indicates it does not have J). The online reservation seem to confirm this. Is this method a correct?
Additionally, this info seems to contradict what MileageMonkey reports as part of its validation. e.g. according to MM there is J class for MIA-JFK but I cannot seem to find one - maybe its information is out of date?
As usual advanced thanks goes to all usual suspects NM, DaveNoble, QF9, simongr, serfty, Evan and many others which made this exercise much more enjoyable than I've ever imagined!
